Create a request post
- A request post is a post where a creator explains their request work and accepts applications. Anyone can open a channel on POSTYPE and create a request post.
- You can create a new request post via [My Menu] > [+] on the channel > [Request (1:1 work)].
- Or, you can create a new request post via [Studio] > [Create] > [Request (1:1 work)].
- You can create up to 10 request posts. Drafts and scheduled posts are also counted in this limit.
- You can edit anything in a request post at any time by going to [Studio] > [Request] > [Post] > [Manage posts] > āEditā or by clicking the [ā¦] button at the top of the post body > āEdit postā.
Application options
- Applicants can choose detailed conditions for the work they are requesting via application options. Set up options and enter choices as option values. For example, for writing work, you can add an option called āLengthā and add option values such as ā1,000 charactersā, ā2,000 charactersā, and ā3,000 charactersā.
- Each request post must have at least one option.
Applicants can select only one option value per option. For each option value, you can set a price between -3,000,000 KRW and 3,000,000 KRW in 10 KRW increments.
- The total price after all options are selected must always be at least 0 KRW. The sum of all options cannot exceed 3,000,000 KRW.Ā
- You can create up to 6 options and up to 6 option values per option.
Questions for applicants
- By adding questions, you can ask applicants for information needed to carry out the request work.
- Creators can check questions and answers in [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications], and applicants can check them in [My Menu] > [Request application history].
Usage rights for the work
- This is where you explain what rights the applicant will have to the finished work. Applicants can check the usage rights for each work in [Request application history] > [Application].
- Even if you update usage rights later, the application will continue to show the usage rights that were in effect at the time of application.
Tags
- A request post must include at least one required tag (Writing, Illustration, Design, Tarot, Coaching, Other).
- In addition to required tags, you can add up to 4 tags that describe the post.Ā
Set publish time
- You can schedule when your request post will be published.
- A request post starts accepting applications as soon as it is published.
- You can change the acceptance status of a request post at any time in [Studio] > [Request] > [Post].
Estimated work period
- Enter how long it usually takes to complete one piece of work, so that applicants can review it before applying.
- The actual deadline is set separately for each application, and may be different from the estimated work period.
- You can set the estimated work period to a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 90 days.
Edit a post
- You can edit a published post by clicking [ā¦] at the top right of the post body > [Edit post], or by going to [Studio] > [Request] > [Post] > [Manage posts] and clicking āEditā.
- Subscribers will not receive a notification when you republish an edited post.
- For applications received before you republish the edited post, the application options, questions for applicants, and usage rights will remain as they were at the time of application.
Ā
Start/stop accepting applications
- A request post starts accepting applications as soon as it is published.
- You can change the acceptance status of a request post at any time in [Studio] > [Request] > [Post] by clicking the āStart acceptingā or āStop acceptingā button.
- A published request post can have one of the three statuses below.
- Accepting: The post is open to new applications.
- Closed: The remaining application slots have reached 0, so no new applications can be received. Once the remaining slots increase, the post can receive applications again.
- Stopped: The creator clicked āStop acceptingā, so no new applications can be received. This status is not affected even if the number of remaining slots changes.
Ā
Manage remaining application slots
- Remaining application slots refer to the total number of applications that can be accepted on that channel.
- Each time a new application is received, one slot is used. One slot is restored when the creator declines an application or when work in progress is marked as āConfirmedā or āRefund completedā.
- In [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications], you can use the -/+ buttons to set remaining application slots from 0 to 40.
- If the remaining application slots reach 0, all published request posts will switch to the āClosedā status.
- When remaining slots increase from 0 to 1, subscribers to the channel will receive a notification.
- If you no longer want to receive new applications while you still have work in progress, you can go to [Studio] > [Request] > [Post] and click the āStop acceptingā button in advance.
Ā
Approve/decline applications
- You can review received applications in [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications].
- In [Application] > [Timeline], you can have a brief conversation with the applicant by using āLeave a messageā.
- If you decide to proceed with the work after reviewing the application, click āAccept applicationā to start the work. At this point, the creator must set a deadline.
- You can set the deadline to a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 90 days from the acceptance date. The deadline is valid until 23:59:59 on the selected date.
- The payment will not be transferred to the creator until the work status becomes āConfirmedā.
- If there is an issue with the application or you decide not to proceed, you can click āDecline applicationā to reject the work. Declined applications will switch to the āApplication canceledā status, and the payment will be refunded to the applicant.
Ā
Work on the request
- Once you accept an application, its status immediately changes to āIn progressā.
- In [Application] > [Timeline], you can discuss progress with the applicant by using āLeave a messageā. Both the applicant and the creator can write up to 10,000 characters per message and upload files up to 100MB.
- Files uploaded via āLeave a messageā expire at midnight 30 days after the upload time. Once a file has expired, it can no longer be downloaded.
Ā
Request a deadline change
- Creators can request a deadline change in [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications] by clicking the āRequest changeā button next to the deadline, or in [Application] > [Application info] > āRequest deadline changeā.
- You can request a deadline change multiple times, but the new deadline must always be within 90 days of the original acceptance date.
- Applicants can accept or decline a deadline change in [My Menu] > [Request application history] > [Application].
- If the applicant accepts the change request before the original deadline, the deadline will be updated. As long as you deliver the work by the new deadline, you will receive the payment.
- If the applicant does not respond to the deadline change request by the original deadline, or declines it, the original deadline will remain in effect. If you fail to deliver the work by the original deadline, 100% of the payment will be refunded to the applicant.
Ā
Deliver work / cancel delivery
- In [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications], click the āDeliver workā button to send work files.
- You can send files up to a total of 1GB via āDeliver workā. You can attach up to 10 files, and the applicant can download them at any time without an expiration date.
- After you deliver the work, the status changes to āCompletedā, and the work will wait for the applicantās āConfirmedā action.
- In [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications], you can click āCancel deliveryā to cancel the previous delivery and upload new work files. When you cancel delivery, the status changes back to āIn progressā.
- Even if you have a record of previously delivering files via āDeliver workā, if the work status is still āIn progressā when the deadline passes, the payment will automatically be refunded to the applicant. Please be careful.
Ā
Stop work and refund (creator)
- Creators can stop work by going to [Studio] > [Request] > [Manage applications] > [Application] and clicking āRefundā. For paid work, the payment will be refunded to the applicant. This action cannot be undone.
- The status will change to āRefund completedā, and you will no longer be able to exchange messages with the applicant in [Application] > [Timeline].
- Depending on the payment provider, it may take 2ā3 business days for the refunded amount to be deposited to the applicant.
- Refunds are only possible when the work status is āIn progressā or āCompletedā. Once the work has been āConfirmedā, no refunds can be made for any reason.
-
If there is a dispute between creator and applicant, POSTYPEās Terms of Use prioritize direct resolution between the parties. However, if it is difficult to reach an agreement and dispute mediation is needed, you can request mediation through the Request Dispute Mediation Center. Please note that mediation may not be available in the following cases:
- When the applicant has declined a deadline change request
Ā
Receive request payment
- If the applicant checks the delivered work and clicks the āConfirmedā button, or if 7 days pass with no response, the work will automatically be marked as āConfirmedā and the payment will be added to your request revenue.
- If you enable automatic withdrawal, a withdrawal request will automatically be created on the 1st of every month and deposited on the 10th. For more details, see Payouts at a glance.
- Anyone can send sponsorships to a request post. Sponsored amounts are counted as āPost revenueā, not request revenue.
Ā
Manage work reviews
- Applicants can leave a review after the work is confirmed. Youāll receive a notification when a review is posted.
- The review shows the actual time spent on the work (from the moment the application is accepted to the moment the work is completed).
Link a result post
- Creators can publish the completed work on their channel and link the post URL to the review by going to the review list at the bottom of the request post and clicking More [ā¦] > [Link result post].
- When a post is linked to a review, visitors who view the review can also view the result post. However, if the linked post is adult content and the visitor does not have permission to view adult content, the result post will not be shown.
- For each review, you can only link POSTYPE post URLs from the same channel where the review was written.
- You can disconnect or change the linked post at any time.
- When a post is linked to a review, the reviewer will receive a notification.
Hide a review
- In the review list at the bottom of the request post, click [ā¦] > [Hide review] to hide a review.
- Hidden reviews are shown as āThis review is hiddenā to both the creator and visitors. The reviewer, however, will still see the full review content.
- Hiding a review does not send a notification to the reviewer. You can unhide and hide the same review again at any time.
- There is no limit to the number of reviews you can hide or how many times you can hide them.
