POSTYPE strives to be a space where creators can freely engage in creative activities supported by the warm encouragement of fans. Please comply with the POSTYPE Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Content Policy. If you violate these policies, measures such as canceling post publication, suspending channels, or blocking accounts may be taken depending on the severity of the violation, and all ongoing work may be forcibly canceled and refunded.
Representative violations related to the use of the request service include the following.
- Providing work in a way that bypasses POSTYPE’s in-service work-delivery function so that the company cannot review the contents, or opening a request on the premise of doing so
- Exchanging payment for transactions directly between users outside the service without using the payment system provided by the company
- A creator delivering work that is not their own original work
- A creator delivering work that cannot reasonably be regarded as a custom creation, such as trading the same work with multiple users
- A creator delivering work that is clearly different from or not completed as described in the title and body, or work that cannot reasonably be regarded as a work product in light of social norms
- Sharing external contact channels such as social media account information, mobile phone numbers, or email addresses with the other party before a transaction
- Repeatedly making and canceling payments without genuine intent to transact
- Sending content or attachments that violate public order or good morals
- Failing to provide any feedback or response regarding requested or ongoing work
- Trading content that is prohibited under the service’s operating policies
- Transacting through a request post whose title and body do not clearly indicate a normal intent to trade
- Any other actions that violate, or are clearly likely to violate, the Terms of Use, applicable laws, or POSTYPE’s Content Policy
As an online marketplace intermediary, POSTYPE can only determine policy violations and mediate disputes for transactions that can be verified within the service. Therefore, requests that provide work without going through the in-service work-delivery function are not allowed, and work whose content cannot be checked by the company will not be recognized as valid work.
Report and block
If you find inappropriate content, report it via the settings icon at the top right of the request post > [Report], and block the channel. Creators can directly block users who are malicious subscribers. If a message violates the Community Guidelines, you can block it in the message window by pressing [···] > [Block messages] to block the message, or press the report icon to report the message. If you are suffering damages due to posts that infringe copyright or other rights, please request temporary measures through the Rights Infringement Report Center.
However, you cannot block a user while there is an ongoing work in progress. You can block the user only after the work status has been closed as “Request canceled,” “Confirmed,” or “Refund completed.”
Dispute Mediation Center
As an online marketplace intermediary, POSTYPE only operates, manages, and provides a system for free transactions between members and sellers, and does not represent either members or sellers. Under the Terms of Use, we prioritize resolution directly between the parties. However, if the parties attempt to reach a mutual agreement and still cannot resolve the issue smoothly, they may submit a dispute mediation application.
1. Filing a dispute
Please submit your application through the Request Dispute Mediation Center. Once your request is received, a dispute mediation manager will review the submission. If important information is missing or supporting evidence is insufficient, you may be asked to provide additional materials, and mediation may be restricted if the case falls under the criteria for which mediation is not available.
2. Notifying the respondent
The respondent will be notified that a dispute has been filed. The respondent must reply within an average of 3 business days. If they fail to respond or do not cooperate, the dispute may be forcibly processed and closed in line with the claimant’s demands.
3. Fact-checking
Based on the claimant’s assertions and the respondent’s reply, the dispute mediation manager will examine and confirm the relevant facts.
4. POSTYPE’s mediation process and proposal
POSTYPE’s dispute mediation is based on negotiating an agreement between the parties, so we will propose mediation within a range that appears negotiable. Therefore, if there is no room for agreement, mediation may be terminated immediately.
5. Closing mediation
When the mediation proposal is accepted, the mediation will be closed. If the proposal is not accepted or you object to the outcome, you may seek further dispute mediation from an external dispute resolution institution.
Notes when filing a dispute
- If you do not accept a mediation proposal from the Dispute Mediation Center that complies with the relevant laws, or if the mediation period is significantly delayed for reasons attributable to you (such as being unreachable), the case may be closed at our discretion.
- Even if a dispute arises, POSTYPE may not always be able to forcibly process refunds or impose usage restrictions. If damages occur after payment is made but the service is not performed, or if damage arises in the course of using the service, we can guide you so that you may seek help from judicial institutions (court, police station), the ICT Dispute Mediation Support Center, the Korea Consumer Agency, and similar organizations.
- Under the Personal Information Protection Act, even a suspected offender’s personal information (name, mobile phone number, bank account number, etc.) is protected and therefore cannot be immediately shared with you. If it is difficult to identify the other party’s personal information, and a court (through an inquiry order or warrant) requests POSTYPE to provide the reported party’s personal information, we will fully cooperate.
