What is a team channel?

• This feature lets you invite other users as team members so you can run the channel together.
• With the team feature enabled, other users can join the channel as team members.
• Each team channel can have up to 20 team members. 

How can I enable the team feature?

• You can enable the team feature in [Studio] > [Settings] > [Team] > “Start team”.
• Once the team feature is started, the channel is classified as a team channel, and you cannot revert it back to a personal channel after the feature is enabled.

What is a team member?

• Although a team member is not the owner of the channel, they act as a co-manager and can exercise various permissions in Studio and on the channel.
• They can participate in running the channel in the roles of manager, editor, or Contributor.
• Create an invitation URL by selecting the permissions you want to grant to the team member, and share it with them.
• When a team member requests to join via the invitation URL, their joining is completed once the channel owner or manager accepts the request.
• Regardless of profile type, each account can join up to 3 team channels as a team member.
• A team channel you own is treated as a personal channel. Regardless of profile type, each account can operate up to 5 personal channels.

How do I invite team members?

• In [Studio for the team channel] > [Settings] > [Team] > click the “Invite team members” button, then select the permissions for the prospective team member to generate an invitation URL.
• You can copy the invitation URL and share it with the prospective team members you want to invite to the team channel.

Notes and FAQs

Notes

• Posts in a team channel are also considered conditionally published content, so you must comply with the Content Policy regardless of the number of viewers or viewing conditions.
• You must always mark team channel posts that are mature. If you publish mature content through a team channel without the mature label in an attempt to bypass the restriction, higher-level actions without warning for service abuse may be taken against you, or you may face legal sanctions.

Why can I only join a team channel via an invitation URL? 

• POSTYPE is designed around a multi-profile concept. Even when joining a channel as a co-manager, your “email address used at signup” and “other multi-profiles that are not joined to the channel” are kept hidden and protected. This allows you to work as a team member while maintaining anonymity. 

Can a team member who has not completed identity verification as an adult join a team channel? 

• They can join, but they will not be able to view mature posts in the team channel. 

Are the earnings from a team channel automatically distributed?

• Earnings from a team channel are settled to the channel owner. Please ask the channel owner separately for any revenue sharing.
