Character Talk Story Creation Guide In Story Mode on POSTYPE Character Talk, you can create scenario-style roleplays where multiple characters and a shared universe come together. Unlike creating a single character, several characters appear together on the stage of your universe. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you create an engaging story.
 

Step 1: Set Basic Information (Required)

This step determines the first impression of your story that users will see on the Explore page.

• Story image: Upload an image that will represent your story.
• Title: Write a title that shows the identity of your story. (Up to 30 characters)
• One-line introduction: Write a short phrase that summarizes your story. (Up to 80 characters)
  • Tip: If you enter {{user}}, it will automatically be converted to the name set by the user.

Step 2: Set Universe and Characters (Required)

This is the key step where you create the universe that will be the stage for your story and the characters who will live and act within it.

• Universe prompt: Describe the settings that run through the entire story, such as background, era, atmosphere, and rules.
• Characters: You can add up to 10 characters. For each character, write a prompt that includes their name (up to 10 characters), personality, appearance, relationships, and more.
  • Note: The total number of characters you can use for the universe prompt plus all character prompts combined is limited to 5,000. The more characters you have, the more you should save and distribute the length for each one.

Step 3: Write Example Situations (Required)

This step sets up the opening scene that greets the user when the story begins, and teaches the speaking style of the characters. 

• Write the intro: In the chat editor on the right, select a speaker from narration (stage directions), user, and each character, and stack messages in order to build the first scene. (Total of 1,000 characters)
  • Tip: If you describe the situation with narration and mix in character-specific lines, you can increase immersion in scenes where multiple characters appear together.
• Creator chat guide: You can write guidance on how you want the conversation to flow.
• Recommended chat model · recommended replies: You can specify a recommended chat model that suits this story and also provide suggested replies that users can refer to.

Step 4: Set Stats (Required)

This step adds depth to relationships and narrative by setting values that change as the conversation progresses.

• Assign stats: You can set up to 3 stats per character, such as affection, trust, or tension.
• Stages · ranges: Each stat is divided into 5 stages, and by specifying the value range, you can express how relationships change according to the conversation.

Step 5: Events and Advanced Features (Optional)

You can set up “hidden elements” that make your story richer. This is not required, so use it only if you want.

You can add advanced direction such as events that occur when specific conditions are met, making conversations more interesting.

Step 6: Detailed Information and Visibility Settings (Required)

This is the final review step before you publish your story.

• Story description: Write a text description that will appear on the introduction page. (This is not reflected in the chat prompt.)
• User age: If your story includes mature-only content, you must set it to “Adult.”
• Main audience: Set whether your story is popular with women, popular with men, or for all users.
• Category: Choose from romance / BL / GL / fan creation / other.
• Tags: Enter up to 5 keywords that help with search.
• Visibility settings: Choose whether the story is public or private.
