Actions Taken for Policy Violations
If content is likely to, or does, violate the content policy, the following actions are taken depending on the severity.
Step 1 – Policy guidance
If there is a possibility of violating the character/story content policy, or if a valid report related to this is received, we will inform you of major violation cases and recommend via service notifications and email that you modify the violating parts of the character yourself.
-
Major examples that fall under policy guidance are as follows:
Characters/stories whose representative image includes exposed body parts
Characters/stories that include images and prompts close to pornography
All-ages characters/stories that include images and prompts depicting sexual acts, use of masturbation tools, fetishism, or other content for sexual gratification
Characters/stories that include violent images intended to shock or cause disgust
Characters/stories that include explicit or disgusting images containing blood or gory scenes
Cases where the same character/story is created repeatedly or maliciously in a way that harms the user experience
Step 2 – Character/story creation canceled
If you keep a character/story without modification even after Step 1 policy guidance, or if the character/story critically violates the content policy, it becomes subject to creation cancellation. Canceled characters can be found in [Studio] > [Character management] or [Story management] by using the ‘Drafts’ filter.
-
Major examples that fall under character/story creation cancellation are as follows:
Creating mature characters/stories (including all viewable information such as images, prompts, descriptions, etc.) as all-ages
Creating a mature character/story that includes elements that may be considered a violation of the content policy (e.g., unmosaicked depictions of genitals)
Including elements that could be considered violations of laws on the protection of children and juveniles from sexual abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)
Cases where multiple reports have accumulated for crime depiction, glorification of violence, or incitement of discrimination
Fan works that are not created in the fan work category
Unauthorized use of another person’s work or IP, use of settings/images modeled on real persons, or otherwise infringing on others’ intellectual property rights or personality rights
Step 3 – Permanent character/story creation cancellation
If you keep a character without modification even after the Step 1 and Step 2 policy guidance, or if the character/story critically violates the content policy, it becomes subject to permanent creation cancellation.
-
Major examples that fall under permanent character/story creation cancellation are as follows:
Creating characters/stories that have already been subject to Step 1–2 actions without any correction
Repeatedly creating mature characters/stories (including all viewable information such as images, prompts, descriptions, etc.) as all-ages characters/stories
Repeatedly creating mature characters/stories that include elements that may be considered violations of the character/story content policy (e.g., unmosaicked depictions of genitals)
Characters/stories that strongly include elements that may be considered violations of laws on the protection of children and juveniles from sexual abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)
Characters/stories with multiple accumulated reports due to crime depiction, glorification of violence, or incitement of discrimination
Fan work characters/stories that are not created in the fan work category
Step 4 – Channel suspension
If you continue to violate, or act in a way equivalent to violating, the Character Talk content policy even after the actions in Steps 1–3, the relevant channel will be suspended.
-
Major examples that fall under channel suspension are as follows:
Repeated violations of POSTYPE policies, terms, or relevant laws even after receiving actions in Steps 1–3
Ongoing creation of characters/stories that may be considered violations of the Character Talk content policy
Ongoing creation of clearly copyright-infringing characters/stories
Other legal violations (such as trading personal information)
Step 5 – Account suspension
Users who habitually violate the content policy or cause serious damage to the service environment will have their accounts blocked. All channels under that account will be suspended, payouts will be stopped, and the company may reclaim previous earnings and charge fees. You will not be able to log in with a blocked account, and using POSTYPE under the same name will not be allowed.
-
Major examples that fall under account suspension are as follows:
Habitually creating characters/stories that harm the user content viewing experience
Habitually creating mature characters/stories as all-ages characters/stories
Habitually creating mature characters/stories that include elements that may be deemed obscene (e.g., genital depictions clear enough to distinguish contours)
Habitually creating characters/stories that include elements that may be considered violations of laws on the protection of children and juveniles from sexual abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)
Habitually creating characters/stories that include other criminal or illegal information, hate speech, etc.
Habitually creating fan work characters/stories that are not created in the fan work category
Any other habitual violations of the Character Talk content policy or acts that cause serious damage to the service environment
The more reports are received or policy violations are repeated, the higher the level of action that will be taken. In cases of policy abuse or fraudulent use of the service, higher-level actions may be taken immediately without accumulation. If you need to make a statement or request a review regarding an action, please contact us through the Help Center. However, channels and accounts confirmed to have violated the policy cannot be restored for any reason.
