What is creator verification?

This is the process of entering and verifying the financial information required to withdraw earnings generated on POSTYPE as cash.
It is only required once, before your first earnings withdrawal. After creator verification is completed, you can continue to withdraw your POSTYPE earnings using the same information.

If you have a bank account under your own name at a domestic bank, you can complete creator verification regardless of age.
You can receive creator verification only from an account where identity verification has been completed via Toss, mobile phone, credit card, or i-PIN, using identity verification methods.
Mobile phone verification is required when completing creator verification.
Some virtual accounts cannot be used as creator verification accounts.
Accounts that were verified with an ID card cannot be used for creator verification. If you wish to perform identity verification again under the same name using Toss, mobile phone, credit card, or i-PIN, please submit a request via Submit inquiry.
Creator verification is not possible under a name that is different from the name used for identity verification. To comply with relevant laws, POSTYPE automatically cross-checks the identity verification name with the creator verification name.

Once creator verification is approved, the registered name cannot be changed or canceled.
Up to 2 accounts can be creator-verified under a single name. If you have already verified 2 accounts and want to verify an additional one, you must first Delete account for one of the already verified accounts.
POSTYPE collects resident registration numbers during creator verification based on laws that permit the collection of resident registration numbers. For details, please refer to the Creator Verification Privacy Policy.
After completing individual creator verification, you can change to a business creator at any time. For more details, please refer to the Business creator verification page.

On the web, go to Earnings and click 'Verify creator' (not supported in the app).
Enter the resident registration number and real name of the person who completed identity verification, then enter that person’s bank account information.
Enter your mobile phone number and complete SMS verification.
If the name and account information match, creator verification will be completed immediately.

Between 23:30–01:00 Korean time (GMT+9), banks may be under maintenance, which can prevent account registration. Please try again after maintenance ends.
Some virtual accounts are prepaid electronic payment instruments and therefore cannot be registered. Please register a regular deposit/withdrawal account.
