Identity verification for foreigners residing overseas ① ID document (passport) (Traditional Chinese)

Users with foreign nationality do not need to complete identity verification.

• Users with foreign nationality can view adult content by enabling the “외국인의 성인물 열람 (Adult content viewing for foreigners)” feature under [설정 (Settings)] > [계정 (Account)].
• By enabling this feature, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that viewing adult content is legal in your country/region of residence. Please note that some content may still be restricted even after enabling this feature.

If you cannot find the “외국인의 성인물 열람 (Adult content viewing for foreigners)” option, you may have been identified as a Korean user for one of the following reasons:

• The language of your device or browser operating system is set to Korean.
• You are using an email service intended for Korean users, such as Naver or Daum.
• There is a record of connection from an IP address within Korea.
• You have been identified as Korean through another account.

Foreign users who are identified as Korean can only verify their age with a passport.

• Once your passport confirms that you are at least 19 years old, you will be able to view adult content.
• Other IDs such as ID cards or driver’s licenses are not accepted.
• Each passport can only be used to verify one account.
• After you submit your passport, it will be automatically reviewed by the system. This may take some time, so please wait patiently.
• If your verification is rejected, all submitted data will be deleted immediately to protect your personal information, so we are unable to provide specific reasons for the rejection.

Follow the steps below to submit your passport for verification:

• If you have not yet verified your email, first complete verification under [설정 (Settings)] > [계정 (Account)] > [이메일 인증 (Email verification)]. After confirming or entering the correct email address, click “인증 메일 보내기 (Send verification email)”, then click the link in the email sent by POSTYPE to activate.
• Click [본인 인증하기 (Identity verification)] > [신분증 인증(해외 이용자 전용) (ID verification – for overseas users only)]. This page can only be accessed from outside Korea.
• Fill in your information exactly as it appears in your passport and upload a copy of your passport.
• If your passport does not have a “Surname” field, please enter a hyphen (-).
• If you have a middle name, please include it together in the “Given Name” field.

Your verification may be rejected in the following cases:

• Personal information other than your photo, surname, given name, nationality, gender, date of birth, and passport expiry date is not masked (all submitted pages must be masked).
• The information you entered does not exactly match the information on your passport (especially nationality, middle name, and names that include spaces or hyphens).
• You did not select the country name that accurately matches your nationality.
• You submitted a Passport Card, ID card, driver’s license, student ID, or any other document that cannot be used for international travel.
• Your personal information is not legible due to blurriness, glare, or reflections in the image.
• Your passport is damaged or expired, or appears to be forged or fraudulently used.
