Actions Taken for Policy Violations

If there is a risk of violating the content policy or an actual violation occurs, the following actions may be taken depending on the severity. 

Step 1 – Policy Guidance

If there is a potential violation of the character/story content policy, or a valid report related to it is received, we will share major examples of violations and recommend that users directly edit the violating parts of their characters via service notifications and email.

• Major examples subject to policy guidance include:

  • Characters/stories with a representative image set that includes exposed body parts

  • Characters/stories that include images and prompts that are close to pornography

  • Characters/stories that include images and prompts of sexual acts, use of masturbation tools, fetishism, or other content for sexual gratification

  • Characters/stories that include violent images intended to shock or cause disgust

  • Characters/stories that include explicit or grotesque images containing blood or gory scenes

  • Cases where characters/stories with the same content are created continuously or maliciously in a way that harms the user experience

Step 2 – Character/Story Creation Cancellation

If you keep your character/story without making edits after Step 1 policy guidance, or if your character/story critically violates the content policy, it will be subject to creation cancellation. Canceled characters can be found in [Studio] > [Character Management] or [Story Management] by using the ‘Draft’ filter.

• Major examples subject to character/story suspension include:

  • Creating adult characters/stories (including all viewable information such as images, prompts, descriptions, etc.) as all-ages content

  • Creating adult characters/stories that include elements that may be considered violations of the content policy (e.g., uncensored depictions of genitals)

  • Including elements that may be considered violations of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)

  • Cases with multiple accumulated reports due to crime depiction, glorification of violence, encouragement of discrimination, etc.

  • Fan creations that are not created under the fan creation category

Step 3 – Permanent Character/Story Creation Cancellation

If you keep your character without making edits even after the Step 1 and Step 2 policy guidance, or if your character/story critically violates the content policy, it will be subject to permanent creation cancellation.

• Major examples subject to character/story suspension include:

  • Creating characters/stories that have received Step 1–2 actions without making the required corrections

  • Repeatedly creating adult characters/stories (including all viewable information such as images, prompts, descriptions, etc.) as all-ages characters/stories

  • Repeatedly creating adult characters/stories that include elements that may be considered violations of the character/story content policy (e.g., uncensored depictions of genitals)

  • Characters/stories that strongly include elements that may be considered violations of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)

  • Characters/stories with multiple accumulated reports due to crime depiction, glorification of violence, encouragement of discrimination, etc.

  • Fan creation characters/stories that are not created under the fan creation category

Step 4 – Channel Suspension

If CharacterTalk content policies are continuously violated, or if similar serious violations occur even after Steps 1–3, the channel in question will be suspended.

• Major examples subject to channel suspension include:

  • Repeated violations of POSTYPE policies, terms, or applicable laws even after receiving actions under Steps 1–3

  • Ongoing creation of characters/stories that may be considered violations of the CharacterTalk content policy

  • Ongoing creation of characters/stories that clearly infringe copyright

  • Other legal violations (such as trading personal information)

Step 5 – Account Suspension

Users who habitually violate the content policy or cause serious damage to the service environment will have their accounts blocked. All channels under the account will be suspended, payout of earnings will stop, and the company may reclaim previous earnings and charge fees. You will not be able to log in with a blocked account, and using POSTYPE under the same identity will not be allowed.

• Major examples subject to account suspension include:

  • Habitually creating characters/stories that harm other users’ content viewing experience

  • Habitually creating adult characters/stories as all-ages characters/stories

  • Habitually creating adult characters/stories that include elements that may be considered obscene content (e.g., depictions of genitals detailed enough to recognize their outline)

  • Habitually creating characters/stories that include elements that may be considered violations of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse (e.g., sexual depictions of child/juvenile representations)

  • Habitually creating characters/stories that include other crimes, illegal information, hate speech, etc.

  • Habitually creating fan creation characters/stories that are not created under the fan creation category

  • Other cases of habitually violating the CharacterTalk content policy or causing serious damage to the service environment

The more reports are filed or the more policy violations are repeated, the higher the level of actions that may be applied. In cases of policy abuse or fraudulent use of the service, higher-level actions may be applied without accumulation. However, channels and accounts found to be in violation of the policy cannot be restored for any reason.
