A larger amount was withdrawn than the amount I tried to charge.

When you charge points through simple payment services such as Toss, Naver Pay (Npay), or Kakao Pay, a larger amount than you intended may be withdrawn. This is not a payment error, but a case where the service has charged a preset prepaid amount first, and POSTYPE points were then charged from that balance.

• If the balance within the service is insufficient at the time of payment, a preset minimum amount (e.g., 10,000 KRW, 50,000 KRW) is automatically charged first, and then the payment is made.
• The remaining balance after payment does not disappear; it is kept as a balance within the simple payment service.

Please check the remaining balance in each service after the automatic charge, referring to the information below.

Toss Pay

• After accessing Toss, go to [All accounts] > [Points/Pay Money] and check whether the remaining balance after charging POSTYPE points is stored as Toss Pay Money.
• If the balance is insufficient, 50,000 KRW is automatically charged and then used for the payment, and any remaining balance after the charge is kept as Toss Pay Money.
• From Toss Home > top right [Payment] > [Payment methods] > [Settings] next to Toss Pay Money > [Transfer], you can enter the account and amount to transfer and withdraw the remaining balance.
• For more details, please contact the Toss Help Center directly.

Naver Pay (Npay)

• On Naver, go to [Npay] > [Point] > [Money] and check whether the remaining balance after charging POSTYPE points is stored as Npay Money.
• If you used the Npay Money “Scheduled charge” feature, when your Npay Money balance is insufficient, the system will automatically charge the preset amount from your linked account and then use it for the payment.
• If a charged payment is canceled, it is refunded as Npay Money, and the refunded Npay Money can be withdrawn to your bank account without fees.
• For more details, please contact the Npay Help Center directly.

Kakao Pay

• In the KakaoTalk app, go to the bottom [···] (More) > [Pay] > click [Money balance] > [Money history], and check whether the remaining balance after charging POSTYPE points is stored as Pay Money.
• According to Kakao Pay policy, if your Pay Money balance is insufficient and a chargeable bank account is registered, Kakao Pay will automatically charge Pay Money in 10,000 KRW units and use it for the payment.
• For more details, please contact the Kakao Pay Help Center directly.
