Community board view/write permissions

In [Studio] > [Community] > [Edit board], you can set community board permissions in 4 levels.

• Creators can set different view/write permissions for each board.
• Users with permission can view the board and write posts.
• If a user loses permission, they can no longer edit their existing posts, only delete them.
• The comment board follows the [comment/support] permissions within the channel, not the community board permissions.

• Channel owner and team members
  • For regular channels, only the channel owner can write posts.
  • For team channels, only the channel owner, admin, editor, and Contributors can write posts.
    • If you leave a team channel, you can no longer write posts.
  • All users can view the posts that are written.

• Membership subscribers
  • Users who are subscribed to a membership plan in the channel can write posts.
    • When the membership support period ends, they can no longer view or write posts.
  • Only the channel owner and membership subscribers can view the posts that are written.
    • In team channels, the channel owner, admin, editor, Contributors, and membership subscribers can view the posts.

• Subscribers
  • Users who subscribed to the channel can write posts using that profile.
    • If they cancel their subscription, they can no longer view or write posts.
  • Only the channel owner and subscribers can view the posts that are written.

• Logged-in users
  • Any logged-in user can write posts.
  • All users can view the posts that are written.
