Creating, Editing, and Deleting Community Boards

What is a community board?

  • A community board is a space where a creator can create boards in their channel and communicate with readers through posts, comments, questions, and more.
  • Creators can set view/write permissions for each board and freely choose its topic.
  • You can choose whether to use the community feature at [Studio] > [Settings] > [Comments/Sponsorship/Community].

 

Creating a community board

  • You can create up to 3 community boards per channel.
  1. Go to [Studio] > [Community] and click ‘Create new board’.
  2. Set the board title and view/write permissions, then click ‘Create board’.

 

Editing and deleting a community board

  • In [Studio] > [Community], select the board you want to edit to change its settings.
  1. In [Studio] > [Community], click ‘Edit’ in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click the arrow icon to change the order of the boards.
  3. Click the trash can icon to delete a board.
  4. Click [Done editing] to save your changes.

Notes on editing and deleting community boards

  • When you delete a board, all posts on that board are immediately deleted and can never be restored.
  • You can’t delete or change the order of the comment board or the question board.
  • You can’t have 0 community boards. (Minimum 1)

 

Question board

  • On the [Question] board under [Channel] > [Community], anyone can ask the creator a question.
  • Only questions that the creator has answered are displayed on the [Question] board. Unanswered questions are visible only to the creator and the author.
  • Creators can select ‘Decline to answer’ for questions they don’t want to answer.
    • A notification will be sent to the author of that question.

 

Disabling the question board

  1. In [Studio] > [Community], select the ‘Question’ board.
  2. Turn off the ‘Enable questions’ button and click ‘Save changes’.
  • When you disable the question board, previously written questions are hidden but not deleted.
  • You can re-enable the question board at any time to view the hidden questions again.

 

Comment board

  • On the [Comment] board under [Channel] > [Community], you can view all comments left on each post in one place.
  • All actions taken in the comment board (likes, deletions, reports) are reflected identically on the original post where the comment was made.
