Due to changes in post policies, creators can now choose how much of a post can be viewed and who can view it through the "Visibility settings" option. If you’re curious about publishing paid posts, please check Selling paid posts. 

Visibility settings

• Select "Public": Enabled when the entire content of the post is set to be visible to everyone.
• Select "Subscribers only": The post is visible only to channel subscribers.
• Select "Buyers only": Any user can pay to view the content below the visibility box. Users who haven’t purchased the post can only see the preview portion (the content above the visibility box).
• Select "Membership only": Members who are actively giving recurring sponsorship through a membership plan can view the full post, while non-members can only see the preview portion (the content above the visibility box).
• Select "Buyers or members": Members who are actively giving recurring sponsorship through a membership plan can view the entire post for free. Non-members must purchase to view the content below the visibility box.
• Select "Private": No one else can view the post; only you can see it.

What is a private post?

• A "private" post is one that only you can see. Other people cannot see it via shared links, search, or in any other area.
• Outside of the Activity tab within the channel, even the channel owner cannot see private posts in Series, Community, Library, or Collections.
• Private posts are included in your own total post count, but they are not included in what other people see.
• For team channels, only the owner and admins can publish and view private posts.

How to publish a private post

• Go to [Publish] > [Visibility settings] and select "Private" to publish a private post.
• You can find published posts in your channel and under [Studio] > [Posts] > [Published].
• If you cancel publication of a private post, it will be moved to [Studio] > [Posts] > [Drafts].
• Private posts are automatically tagged with the "Private" tag.

A post I purchased has been changed to private.

• You can no longer see the original post, but you can still access your personal copy under [Library] > [Purchases].

I want to republish a private post as public.

• You can change it to "Public" under [Publish] > [Visibility settings].
• If you change the visibility to Public and republish, no notification will be sent to subscribers.
