Changing the position of the visibility box
You can use the visibility box to set a price on part or all of a post and sell it as paid content.
- If there is content such as text, images, or video below the visibility box, that post becomes a paid post or a subscribers-only post.
- If you set it as a paid post, readers must pay in points at the price set by the creator to view this content. Creators can place an appropriate preview above the visibility box to increase readers’ desire to purchase the paid content that follows below.
- After placing content below the visibility box, click “Publish” at the top right of the editor screen and, under “Visibility settings,” select “Visible to post purchasers only.” For more details, please see Publishing subscribers-only posts.
- On a web browser, click the visibility box and drag it up or down, or freely adjust its position using the quick insert (+) button on the left side of the post editor.
- On a mobile browser, press and hold the visibility box and move it up or down to change its position.
Setting a post price
- After clicking “Publish” at the top right of the editor screen, you can set a sale price in the publishing options from a minimum of 100 up to 500,000, in units of 10 points. You can always republish a published post to change its price or make it free.
- Even if the price goes up, existing purchasers can continue to view the post without additional payment.
- Membership recurring sponsorship plans let you make paid posts available for free to your members. In “Publish” > “Visibility settings,” select “Visible to post purchasers or membership subscribers.”
-
Select the specific membership plan that will have free access to that paid post.
- If you select a lower-tier membership plan, members on higher tiers will also be able to view it.
- You can view the contents of paid posts published under other profiles in your account.
- However, posts can only be edited from the profile that created them.
