Can I keep viewing posts I purchased or sponsored if they’re deleted, unpublished, or changed to membership-only?

Even if a creator unpublishes a post (moves it to drafts or trash), permanently deletes it, changes its visibility to membership-only, or deletes their channel/account, buyers can continue to view the post content through their owned copy. The viewing period for the owned copy depends on the creator’s channel settings.

• If the creator has set the viewing period of the owned copy to “Limited period access”: once the post is unpublished (moved to drafts or trash) or permanently deleted, you can view the owned copy for 14 days and will no longer be able to view it afterward. This information is shown at the time of purchase, and you’ll also receive a notification when the post is unpublished or deleted.

• If the creator has set the viewing period of the owned copy to “Permanent access”: even if the post is unpublished (moved to drafts or trash) or permanently deleted, you can continue to view the owned copy.

How to view your owned copies

• [Library] > [Purchases] > [More (・・・)] > “View owned copy”

• [My Points] > [Point history] only shows your point deposits and usage details. It does not store owned copies of posts, so please use the Purchases section.

• Even if a previously purchased post becomes unavailable for viewing, Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce states that it is non-refundable.

Owned copy viewing period

If a creator changes the viewing period setting for owned copies from “Permanent access” to “Limited period access,” it will apply as follows:

You can no longer view sponsored posts if they are deleted, unpublished, or switched to paid.

• If a sponsored free post is switched to paid, sponsors must also purchase it to keep viewing it.
• If you purchase a sponsored post, an owned copy will be created under [Library] > [Purchases].
