Deceased account management
To protect the privacy of deceased users, POSTYPE does not provide account information of the deceased (account email address, password, etc.) or any access rights to the deceased’s account, even to bereaved family members or representatives.
A bereaved family member or representative who has been granted authority may provide proof of inheritance rights and, upon request, have the deceased’s account deleted. If there are earnings or charged points in the deceased’s account, the amount minus fees will be paid to the bank account you designate.
- Earnings will be paid to the heir’s (bereaved family member’s) or representative’s bank account after deducting a 10% fee in accordance with POSTYPE’s earnings withdrawal policy.
- Points will be paid to the heir’s (bereaved family member’s) or representative’s own bank account after deducting, as a refund fee, the greater of 1,000KRW or 10% of the remaining balance in accordance with POSTYPE’s refund policy.
