Deceased Account Management
To protect the privacy of deceased users, POSTYPE does not provide account information (such as account email address, password, etc.) or access rights to the deceased’s account, even to bereaved family members or legal representatives.
A bereaved family member or representative who has been granted authority of inheritance may verify their inheritance rights and, upon request, have the deceased’s account deleted. If there are any earnings or charged points remaining in the deceased’s account, the amount excluding applicable fees will be transferred to the requested bank account.
- Earnings are paid to the inheritor’s (bereaved family’s) or representative’s bank account after a 10% fee is deducted in accordance with POSTYPE’s earnings withdrawal policy.
- Points are paid to the inheritor’s (bereaved family’s) or representative’s own bank account after deducting a refund fee, which is the greater of 1,000 KRW or 10% of the remaining balance, in accordance with POSTYPE’s refund policy.
