How to verify with i-PIN

1. Settings > Account, then click Identity verification and mature content viewing settings and select i-PIN as the verification method.
2. Enter your i-PIN ID and password, complete secondary verification, and finish identity verification.

※ If you do not have an i-PIN, Korean nationals, foreign residents in Korea, and overseas Koreans who have been issued a resident registration number or foreigner registration number that has not yet been voided can obtain an i-PIN even from overseas.

※ If i-PIN verification is not available, please complete verification using your card or ID (passport) instead.

※ POSTYPE only provides identity verification methods permitted by applicable law. Other methods such as international credit cards are not supported.

How to newly issue an i-PIN from overseas

Issuing an i-PIN using a joint certificate or financial certificate

• Bring your ID and visit the nearest overseas mission to have a joint certificate or financial certificate issued.
• Use your joint certificate or financial certificate to get an i-PIN from NICE Information Service, Seoul Credit Rating & Information, or Korea Credit Bureau (KCB).

※ If you enable the overseas login block option when issuing your i-PIN, you will not be able to access it from abroad, so please be careful.

When errors occur during i-PIN verification

If your overseas IP is blocked, please check your static IP address and ask KCB customer service by phone (+82-2-708-1000) or email (cs_okname@koreacb.com) to allow your overseas IP.

• Public IP: Visit https://ip.pe.kr/ and check the IP shown under IP Address.
• Private IP: Search for CMD in the Windows Start menu and run it → type ipconfig and press Enter, then check the IP shown for IPv4.
