Visibility settings

• Select “Public”: Enabled when the entire post is set to public.
• Select “Visible only to subscribers”: The post is visible only to channel subscribers.
• Select “Visible only to post purchasers”: Any user can pay to view the content below the visibility box. Users who have not purchased the post can only view the preview portion (content above the visibility box).
• Select “Visible only to membership subscribers”: Members who are currently providing recurring support through a membership plan can view the entire post, while non-members can only view the preview portion (content above the visibility box).
• Select “Visible to post purchasers or membership subscribers”: Members who are currently providing recurring support through a membership plan can view the entire post for free, while non-members must purchase the content below the visibility box to view it.
• Select “Private”: No one else can view it; only you can.

What is a private post?

• A private post is a post that only you can view and no one else can. It cannot be seen by others in any area, including shared links or search results.
• Except for the Activity tab in the channel, even the channel owner cannot view private posts in series, community, library, or collections.
• Your own private posts are included in your total post count, but they are not included in the count visible to other users.
• For team channels, only the owner and managers can publish and view private posts.

How to publish a private post

• Go to [Publish] > [Visibility settings] and select “Private” to publish a private post.
• You can check published posts in the channel and in [Studio] > [Posts] > [Published].
• Canceled private posts are moved to [Studio] > [Posts] > [Drafts].
• The “Private” tag is automatically added to private posts.

A post I purchased has been switched to private.

• You can no longer view the original post, but you can still check your collected copy under [Library] > [Purchases].

I want to republish a private post as public.

• You can switch it to “Public” via [Publish] > [Visibility settings].
• If you change the visibility to Public and publish, no notification will be sent to subscribers.
